Senior Business Architect

Overview

In this Senior Business Architect role, you will translate strategy into enterprise-wide business and technology change across customer, colleague and supplier journeys. You’ll shape capabilities, operating models and processes to support Primark’s growth, collaborating with Technology, Strategy, Finance and Transformation leaders. You’ll influence major investment decisions and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value, with high visibility and cross-functional impact. Responsibilities

• Drive the annual Technology strategy and portfolio planning cycle
• Define end-to-end Customer, Colleague and Supplier business and technology journeys
• Own and evolve the enterprise capability model, value streams, operating models and business process architecture
• Shape major strategic initiatives with early architectural guidance
• Lead identification of enterprise-wide business requirements and strategic opportunities
• Mentor Business Architects, Business Analysts and Solution Architects
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimisation, efficiency improvements and risk mitigation

Key requirements

• >10 years’ experience in Business Analysis and/or Business Architecture delivering enterprise-scale solutions
• >12 years’ experience within Technology organisations
• Strong background in Business Architecture frameworks and TOGAF or equivalent
• Experience in investment planning, business case development, prioritisation and benefits realisation
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across technical and non-technical audiences
• Systems thinking and design thinking capabilities for solving complex business challenges
• Experience influencing senior leaders and leading across multiple programmes and domains
