Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Oversee financial reporting for regulatory compliance and standards
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and systems
• Supervise and develop the finance team
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including auditors and regulators
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency

Key requirements

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong financial management and leadership experience
• Proven ability to provide strategic financial guidance to senior stakeholders
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and team management abilities
• Experience within the Further Education sector is essential
