Overview

As Senior Agriculture Manager, you will lead a team of Agriculture Managers across the market to drive farm performance and strengthen farmer relationships. You translate strategy into practical on-farm action, delivering performance, sustainability, and engagement initiatives. You serve as a trusted advisor to farmer members while collaborating with Agriculture, Sustainability and Commercial functions. This role combines people leadership, strategic execution, and direct farmer engagement to create value for the cooperative and the future of sustainable dairy production.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Agriculture Managers to deliver outstanding farmer support
• Drive farm performance, farmer engagement and operational priorities across the market
• Manage a strategic portfolio of farms and act as trusted advisor to members
• Translate Agriculture strategy into practical on-farm execution with a focus on performance, sustainability and engagement
• Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and talent development
• Collaborate with Agriculture, Sustainability and Commercial functions to meet shared objectives
• Ensure strong farmer representation and effective communication between farmers and the business

Key requirements

• Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of dairy farming systems, farm economics and performance improvement
• Proven ability to build trusted farmer relationships and manage complex stakeholders
• Ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable business outcomes
• Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills; collaborative leadership style
• Experience in dairy farming, agricultural advisory services, farm management or related field; track record of leading through change
