Electronic Systems Security Consultant

Overview

In this role you will design and deliver electronic security solutions for major UK infrastructure projects. You will integrate into project teams and work independently to produce robust security designs and packages. You’ll apply standards and regulations while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. The position offers UK-wide travel and a chance to shape security across critical infrastructure with a design-led approach.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection)
• Produce and review designs using Revit, BIM and CAD
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams
• Prepare technical documentation, scopes of work and design packages
• Support clients and project teams to deliver secure solutions
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations

Key requirements

• Degree qualified or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in electronic security systems design
• Proficient with Revit, BIM and CAD
• Experience in multidisciplinary design teams
• Recent relevant role (within last 5 years)
• Good knowledge of CCTV, access control, IDS, VMS/SMS and related technologies
• Understanding of standards/regulations (NPSA, ISO, LPCB)
• Willing to travel UK-wide
• Eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
