Overview

Senior Solutions Architect at AWS’s Global Financial Services team shapes cloud strategies for top banking, insurance, and capital markets customers. Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and migrate applications and services on the AWS platform with customers
• Collaborate with sales to drive AWS adoption and meet revenue goals
• Advise senior technical leaders on long-term technology strategy in Financial Services
• Lead architecture discussions and reviews focusing on security, scalability, cost optimization, and operational excellence
• Develop and share reusable reference architectures, patterns, and best-practice content
• Mentor Solutions Architects to grow team capability
• Act as a Financial Services thought leader via public speaking, content, and industry engagement on cloud and AI
• Conduct training sessions for customers evaluating or using AWS
• Provide feedback to AWS service/product teams based on customer needs and field gaps
• Contribute to organizational planning, recruiting, and team-wide initiatives

Key requirements

• Experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
• Design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
• Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries
