Special Projects Lead

Overview

In this role you drive high‑visibility, strategic initiatives that shape Rotork’s growth. You’ll partner with senior leadership, lead cross‑functional projects, and turn ambiguous challenges into concrete outcomes. You’ll influence direction and build networks across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams. This is a fast‑paced springboard for future leadership, with ownership from planning to measurable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, delivering insights for key decisions
• Own and deliver complex, cross‑functional projects aligned to strategic priorities
• Partner with Head of Business Development on evaluating acquisition targets and leading M&A integration
• Define scope, craft success metrics, and align stakeholders amid ambiguity
• Build strong internal networks across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams
• Apply structured planning, risk management, and KPI tracking to ensure progress
• Champion continuous improvement and embed best‑practice ways of working across the organization

Key requirements

• Experience leading strategic, cross‑functional projects in a complex or fast‑moving environment
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
• Strong analytical thinking and a track record of delivering outcomes that move the needle
• Background in M&A, product portfolio evaluation, or integration is an advantage
• Autonomy, adaptability, and comfort working on a wide variety of challenges
