Overview

In this Project Manager role, you will lead the MAS9 digital transformation for the Naval Nuclear Enterprise, coordinating cross-functional teams to implement an Enterprise Asset Management solution. You will govern delivery, manage risks and stakeholder engagement, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements in a critical national infrastructure setting. The position offers hands-on leadership within defence, engineering, and technology, driving sustainable business change and improved operational performance. This role combines on-site leadership at HMNB Clyde with meaningful impact on national security and asset governance.

Responsibilities

• Govern project governance, reporting, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies throughout the lifecycle
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet scope, budget and schedule
• Develop and maintain project plans, documentation and delivery reporting
• Engage with programme teams, senior stakeholders and delivery partners
• Support regulatory compliance and maintain effective project controls

Key requirements

• Experience managing large-scale IT or digital transformation projects in complex environments
• Experience in project governance, reporting and stakeholder management with senior stakeholders
• Experience in IT, software development or technical support environments
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating cross-functional activities
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and delivery schedules in regulated environments
