Delivery Director – Technology (Insurance & Insurtech)

Overview

In this role you will lead large-scale transformation programmes in the insurance and insurtech space, delivering measurable business value. You will partner with executives and engineering teams to translate business vision into scalable, secure tech solutions, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and driving AI adoption. You’ll own programme outcomes and margin performance in collaboration with a Client Partner, and build high-performing cross-functional delivery teams on client-site and in London. This position blends strategic oversight with deep domain and technical fluency to shape impactful insurance technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee large-scale transformation programmes or portfolios in the insurance sector
• Be fully accountable for programme outcomes, customer satisfaction, and AI adoption
• Collaborate with Client Partner on commercial performance, including margin
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices
• Build and manage high-performing cross-functional delivery teams
• Work with C-suite, senior stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate vision into scalable, secure insurance technology solutions
• Generate measurable business value through technology and process improvements

Key requirements

• Experience leading large-scale transformation programmes in insurance/insurtech
• Strong technical fluency and understanding of insurance tech systems
• Ability to operate with board-level oversight and engage C-suite
• Proven collaboration with client partners and focus on commercial performance, including margin
• Proven ability to build and lead cross-functional delivery teams
• Ability to drive AI adoption within large programmes
• Location flexibility for London on-site/client-site work
