Early Years Practitoner

Overview

In this Nursery Assistant role at a welcoming North Bristol setting, you’ll support children through a day of play, exploration and real-life learning. You work closely with experienced Early Years staff to foster communication, independence and emotional development. The role centers on child-initiated activities, safeguarding, and building warm relationships with families and children. You’ll contribute to a caring, team-based environment and have the chance to gain valuable EYFS experience.

Responsibilities

• Support children throughout the nursery day
• Lead and participate in creative indoor and outdoor activities
• Encourage communication, confidence and independence
• Build warm, positive relationships with children
• Support children’s emotional and social development
• Work alongside experienced Early Years practitioners and teachers

Key requirements

• Experience in childcare, nurseries or schools
• Genuine passion for supporting young children
