Data & AI Science Consultant

Overview

In this role you help clients unlock value from data and AI through advanced analytics and machine learning. You will work within the Applied Intelligence team to deliver end-to-end data science solutions that scale across industries. You identify opportunities, build models, and guide deployment to production, aiming to create measurable business impact. You collaborate with global teams and leverage Accenture’s training programs to grow your expertise. This is a chance to shape transformative data-driven initiatives at scale.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging business problems with advanced machine learning methods (e.g., deep learning, quantitative analytics)
• Understand requirements and contribute to business cases
• Run discovery analytics to identify opportunities
• Partner with developers/engineers to deploy ML models delivering business value
• Define approaches to embed and scale ML models
• Build reusable assets, solutions and best practices
• Consult on complex analyses and advanced ML methods
• Communicate insights to senior client leadership
• Contribute DS expertise to new sales activities
• Shape DS strategy and delivery across industries
• Develop others by sharing knowledge

Key requirements

• Data science, ML, and business analytics experience
• Coding in Python, R, Scala (Python preferred)
• SQL/ETL/No-SQL/Big Data tech experience (e.g., pySpark, Hive)
• Experience with structured and unstructured data (text, PDFs, images, audio/video)
• ML modeling techniques and fine-tuning (e.g., XGBoost, Deep Learning, Transformers)
• Experience with ML libraries (Fastai, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, HuggingFace)
• Ability to read and implement new ML techniques
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Specialised visualization (D3.js, ggplot)
• Strong communication and data presentation skills
• Awareness of Large Language Models (LLMs) and commitment to continuous learning
