Senior Project Manager

Overview

As Senior Project Manager, guide cross-functional teams through complex Sport Broadcast and Graphics initiatives, aligning delivery with client goals and business value. You own sprint execution, budgets, and stakeholder relationships, driving on-time delivery and operational quality. You translate client objectives into measurable outcomes and shape roadmaps with learnings from post-launch reviews. This role sits at the intersection of delivery discipline and client relationship, offering impact across multiple sporting and media projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to execute complex Sport Broadcast and Graphics projects
• Ensure alignment between client objectives, delivery execution, and user experience excellence
• Translate client business objectives into measurable delivery outcomes for account and portfolio strategy
• Facilitate sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives, driving delivery optimisations
• Lead post-launch reviews to measure stability and feed learnings into roadmaps
• Manage and track team velocity, project financials (P&L), and KPIs against the plan
• Create and maintain project plans, budgets, and reporting documentation
• Oversee performance across speed, scope, quality, and cost; protect margins
• Serve as central communication hub across stakeholders, engineers, and clients
• Provide updates via reporting, standups, and client-facing reviews
• Maintain dependency plans across sprints, infra, and third-party integrations
• Build trusted client relationships and deliver exceptional onboarding and support
• Conduct stand-ups, retrospectives, promoting agile best practices
• Keep artefacts (RACI, RAID, change requests, comms plans) current
• Mentor junior team members and coordinators
• Contribute to pre-sales and scoping (estimates, RFIs, SOWs)
• Establish governance cadences, steering committees, milestone gates to align with strategy

Key requirements

• 3+ years’ experience leading complex multi-disciplinary projects up to 12 months and budgets over $500,000
• Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience managing development teams
• Proven ability to align delivery with client goals and manage change, risk, profitability
• Strong technical understanding bridging business goals and engineering realities
• Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for workflow and sprint tracking
• Excellent English communication across engineers and senior stakeholders
• Experience in international or distributed organizations across time zones
• Mentoring track record and knowledge sharing within delivery teams
• History of driving process improvements in ambiguous environments without formal authority
