Analyst, UK Chief Risk Officer, Risk Reporting

Overview

In this role you will support the UK second line of defense governance and risk reporting within GRC. You will design and maintain the UK risk governance structure, risk framework, and policy library, enabling compliant, risk-aware decision-making. You’ll monitor risk indicators, produce timely insights for management and governance forums, and promote sharing of best practices across the enterprise. Responsibilities

• Oversee risk assessment activities and ensure outputs meet regulatory expectations and internal frameworks
• Identify elevated risk areas through data analysis and KRIs and provide timely insights to management
• Conduct independent QA to surface high-risk areas and support risk interventions
• Embed risk management practices into day-to-day activities and decision-making
• Review dashboards and KRIs to detect trends and trigger appropriate actions
• Facilitate cross-enterprise knowledge sharing on risk themes and best practices
• Prepare and present risk reporting to senior management and governance committees, highlighting themes and actions

Key requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, treasury, controllership, or a similar role
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen with a risk-reward control perspective
• Solid understanding of UK regulatory requirements and the payments industry
• Experience interacting with regulators and familiarity with the UK regulatory landscape
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field
• Attention to detail and strong written communication skills
• Experience administering/supporting ownership of policies (desirable)
