BMS Service Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service, commission, and troubleshoot BMS and related control systems across commercial and industrial sites. You will support client satisfaction by ensuring systems operate reliably and safely, while maintaining precise records and upholding health and safety standards. You’ll work with leading BMS platforms and collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to meet specifications and drive performance. Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and fault-finding on BMS and related control systems
• Commission new BMS systems and upgrades to client specifications
• Troubleshoot HVAC, lighting, access control, and other building systems on-site and remotely
• Provide technical support to clients to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate service records and report issues to management
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and policies

Key requirements

• Proven BMS service, commissioning, or installation experience
• Knowledge of BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems with solid problem-solving
• Experience in commercial or industrial environments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or BMS systems (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
• Right to work in the UK
