Engineering Manager

Overview

In this Engineering Manager role, you guide engineering across multiple projects, aligning delivery with budget, scope, and company objectives. You’ll lead teams, embed HSEQ in design decisions, and drive innovation and value engineering. You’ll supervise design processes, assure quality from design to handover, and represent the company to clients and stakeholders. This permanent on-site position offers a chance to shape engineering capability and delivery culture within a seasoned team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure teams follow established processes and procedures
• Lead assurance for design, construction, commissioning, and handover
• Act as CDM Principal Designer
• Advise sector leaders, clients, and support bids/submissions
• Line manage design managers and coordinate staff development
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards; challenge poor practice
• Apply latest engineering methods and technology
• Implement lessons learned to improve design, procedures, quality, sustainability, and social value
• Represent the company externally to clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Support recruitment and professional development of engineers
