Residential Property Lawyer – Devon

Overview

In this role you will manage a varied residential property caseload within a forward-thinking, established firm. You contribute to the growth of the property team while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment. You will handle matters from sales and purchases to equity transfers and remortgages, delivering an exceptional client experience. You will work closely with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors to drive smooth transactions and ongoing department development. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters (freehold/leasehold sales & purchases; transfers of equity; remortgages; new build transactions; shared ownership; equity release)
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors to facilitate transactions
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the property department
• Deliver high-quality client service with attention to detail and timely communication

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
• Strong experience across residential conveyancing
• Ability to manage own caseload confidently and independently
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Organised, commercially minded and proactive
• Enjoys business development and building long-term client relationships
