Process Engineer – Clean Water

Overview

In this role you will support the development and delivery of process engineering solutions for Clean Water projects. You’ll work on process calculations, design drawings, specs and reports, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to translate requirements into deliverables. You will assess treatment options, develop process designs, and progress projects from initial studies to detailed design, growing your expertise as responsibilities increase.

Responsibilities

• Develop process calculations and design documentation for water treatment projects
• Create design drawings, technical specifications and reports
• Assess treatment options and progress from feasibility through detailed design
• Coordinate design activities with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver high-quality engineering outputs and support project decisions
• Build knowledge and assume increasing responsibility over time

Key requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant institution or working towards chartership
• Experience in process engineering, ideally in Clean Water or related water treatment
• Understanding of process engineering principles and their application to water treatment
• Ability to contribute to technical calculations, design documentation and engineering reports
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Aware of engineering standards, health and safety principles
• Effective communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
