Respiratory Clinical Team Manager

Overview

In this role, you lead a Community Specialist Respiratory Team to deliver assessment, treatment and management for patients with respiratory conditions in community settings. You will support COPD admission avoidance, oxygen assessment and prescribing, and pulmonary rehabilitation, while collaborating with the Specialist Services Manager on service delivery, workforce development, quality improvement and patient safety. This position supports care across the locality from Swindon to Bath and North East Somerset. It offers a meaningful opportunity to shape community respiratory care and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Specialist Respiratory Team with specialist assessment, treatment and management of respiratory patients in community settings
• Drive COPD admission avoidance and recovery support services
• Oversee oxygen assessment and prescribing activities
• Coordinate and contribute to pulmonary rehabilitation programmes
• Collaborate with the Specialist Services Manager on service delivery, workforce development, quality improvement and patient safety
• Help ensure consistent, high-quality care across the locality
