Overview
As a Senior/Associate Cost Manager in the MEP Real Estate teams, you will lead cost consultancy across the full project lifecycle within a global, client-focused firm. You’ll drive feasibility, cost planning, tendering and post‑contract management for diverse real estate masterplans, shaping project delivery and value. You’ll mentor teams, foster collaboration and ensure high-quality outcomes that align with client objectives and company standards. Responsibilities
- Lead cost consultancy activities: feasibility estimating, cost planning, procurement, tender documentation and evaluation
- Manage value engineering, commercial management and post‑contract activities
- Promote safety and uphold company values; foster team engagement and high performance
- Coach and guide team on project and technical matters; communicate scope and roles clearly
- Oversee service delivery to achieve high-quality client outcomes and satisfaction
- Support cross-functional collaboration across diverse real estate projects
Key requirements
- Proven track record in delivering cost management/quantity surveying across full project lifecycle
- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards
- Degree or HNC level qualification
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Experience delivering MEP elements for clients
- Knowledge/contacts within MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
- Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
