Quality Assurance Manager – Grenade

Overview

In this role you will own the quality and compliance agenda across Grenade’s supply chain, ensuring product quality from supplier to consumer. You will partner with Mondelez and the wider Supply Chain & Operations team to streamline quality processes, support new product launches, and maintain robust testing and reporting. You’ll lead audits, supplier relationships, and informed sport testing to uphold high standards. This is an opportunity to shape quality culture in a fast-growing, consumer-focused brand.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the quality and compliance program across the supply chain
• Own the complaint handling process from supplier to consumer
• Collaborate with Mondelez Quality Team to harmonise quality practices
• Serve as quality point of contact for Grenade Special situations with SSMT
• Provide technical support for new and existing business
• Ensure NPD launches meet Quality Policy criteria
• Oversee nutritional testing schedule and reporting database
• Administer internal Quality Management Policies
• Foster strong supplier relationships to ensure Mondelez and Grenade Quality Policy compliance
• Maintain high quality and consistency of Grenade products
• Own Informed Sports Testing process and relationships
• Work with Supply Chain & Operations to balance service, growth and quality
• Review KPI reporting, conduct RCA, and share findings across the business
• Act as Supply Chain lead for PPWR governance
• Coach and lead one direct report

Key requirements

• Food manufacturing quality assurance experience essential
• Internal auditing experience
• Degree level education in science or food technology
• Food safety and HACCP qualifications desirable
• Microbiology knowledge would be advantageous
• Ability to conduct audits, checks and quality analysis
• Data collection and report writing
• IT literate with Word, Excel and database systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High accuracy and methodical approach
• Ability to develop and lead one direct report
