Project Manager – Supply & Trading

Overview

In this role, you will own the delivery of strategic technology initiatives across supply, trading and logistics, ensuring alignment with business goals and digital transformation priorities. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and tech teams to drive execution and enhance operational efficiency for integrated supply chains. You will lead complex projects through a full delivery lifecycle, focusing on value realization and scalable solutions. This is a growth-focused role that combines governance, financial oversight and cross-functional leadership to enable impactful improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex supply and trading technology projects through mobilization, definition, execution, transition and closure
• Define outcomes, scope, success metrics, milestones, ownership and acceptance criteria
• Build and lead multidisciplinary teams, removing obstacles to delivery
• Maintain focus on business value and ensure alignment with strategy and business case
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans covering scope, schedule, resources, costs, dependencies, quality, assurance and transition activities
• Own project financial management including forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis and corrective action
• Manage scope via structured change control with clear understanding of value, cost, schedule, risk and resources
• Establish governance, decision rights, reporting and escalation routes with sponsors and stakeholders
• Identify, assess and actively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies with clear options and recommendations

Key requirements

• 8+ years of experience in supply, trading, logistics or commercial operations environments
• Background delivering projects across distribution operations, terminals, supply chain, transportation or contracts management
• Knowledge of digital delivery and project management standards
• Familiarity with assurance, governance and control requirements in complex operational environments
• Ability to build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, stakeholders and teams across business and technology
• Expertise in financial management, forecasting, cost tracking and variance analysis
• Proficiency in structured change control processes
• Experience preparing projects for assurance and governance reviews with traceable decisions and actions
