Senior Commercial and Consumer Business Analyst

Overview

In this role you will translate commercial and customer insights into actionable recommendations to drive growth, profitability and engagement across Retail, Digital, CRM and Commercial Operations. You will partner with cross-functional teams and leverage analytical products and predictive models to support data-informed decisions. You will shape reporting, forecasting and business cases, enabling a customer-led and commercially driven strategy. This position offers the chance to influence multi-channel performance and contribute to a data-driven culture at COS.

Responsibilities

• Analyse commercial and customer performance across channels to identify opportunities, risks and growth drivers
• Translate analytical outputs into actionable recommendations for trading performance and customer experience
• Define requirements for reporting, forecasting and KPI frameworks to ensure accessible performance insights
• Develop business cases and scenario analyses using commercial, customer and predictive insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a data-informed culture and influence decision-making

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of retail, digital and customer performance metrics with ability to convert insights into actions
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for stakeholders
• Relationship-building and influencing skills across multiple functions and seniority levels
• Forecasting, scenario planning and business case development experience
• Proficiency in reporting and visualization tools and defining data requirements
