SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER

Overview

As Senior IT Project Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery of the Business Transformation Programme. You will collaborate with senior leaders to define and govern an enterprise-wide application architecture across SaaS and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration and successful, multi-location delivery. You’ll steer architecture governance, project lifecycle, and change management to realize transformation goals. This role offers impact through shaping technology choices and cross-functional collaboration in a global context. You will drive outcomes that align technology with business priorities and client value.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an enterprise application architecture blueprint aligned with transformation goals
• Provide technical leadership to Solution Engineers and project teams on integration platform selection and deployment
• Ensure architectural coherence and compliance across all projects within the programme
• Track and enforce design principles, constraints, and standards for technical teams
• Manage project lifecycle using PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or Kanban, including scope, schedule, cost, risk and issues
• Lead stakeholder engagement with clear status, presentations, and documentation for senior leadership
• Coordinate change management activities from design to production and BAU
• Oversee QA, testing and validation of integrated solutions across SaaS, on-premise and cloud
• Collaborate with international, multicultural teams across time zones to ensure effective communication
• Monitor vendor performance and manage contracts to meet SLAs and financial targets

Key requirements

• 15+ years IT experience with at least 10 years in ERP implementation and full project lifecycle delivery
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration
• PRINCE2 or PMP certification with experience in Agile/Scrum
• Proven experience designing and governing application architecture for large organizations
• Strong knowledge of SaaS solutions (Oracle, Workday, Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Hands-on experience with complex application and data integrations (cloud-to-cloud, SaaS-to-on-prem)
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and senior stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and deliver high-quality results
• Experience with ITIL processes, change management and business process re-engineering
• Preferred: experience with UN/International organizations, NGOs or public sector and proficiency in French or Spanish
