Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of electrical building services from concept to completion
• Produce and review designs for power distribution, lighting, life safety, and renewables
• Manage project resources, budgets, and programmes
• Serve as main contact for clients, architects, contractors, and design teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and graduates
• Review calculations, specifications, and technical reports
• Support business development and pursuit of new projects
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practice

Key requirements

• Significant experience in a UK building services consultancy
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects and managing client relationships
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership
• Ambition to progress toward Associate or Technical Director level
