Maintenance Manager – Planned Works

Overview

In this role you will lead a maintenance team delivering high-quality property services to our homes, chiefly focused on planned works for kitchens and bathrooms. You will work within the Property Services Team at the Basingstoke hub, collaborating with residents and external partners to ensure safe, value-for-money outcomes. Your leadership will drive performance, safety, and data integrity across a local portfolio while shaping co-created services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, timely outcomes for customers through a trades team and external partners
• Maintain high-quality data within property systems
• Uphold safe working practices in line with health, safety legislation and CDM
• Develop local knowledge of customer, asset and investment needs in your locality
• Engage with residents to co-create services and improve delivery
• Plan and deliver property services workstreams (primarily Planned Works) across residential and non-residential portfolio

Key requirements

• Experience leading direct-labour maintenance teams
• Knowledge of planning delivery of workstreams in a customer-focused environment
• Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against budgets
• Commercial acumen and ability to manage costs and mitigate risks
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation with emphasis on compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate/advanced Excel
• Willingness to travel, access to a car and a full UK driving licence
