Product Manager – Commodities, Enterprise Data

Overview

As a Product Manager for Commodities Enterprise Data, you will shape a strategic roadmap and drive growth for Bloomberg’s data offerings. You’ll partner with Engineering, Sales and Analytics to translate client needs into scalable data solutions. You will engage with clients to understand challenges and align product development with the firm’s growth strategy. This role offers impact across energy, metals, agriculture and carbon data, contributing to a trusted, market-leading data platform.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Commodities Enterprise Data aligned with Bloomberg’s growth agenda.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Product, Data, Sales and support teams to deliver impact.
• Engage directly with clients to capture needs and design scalable data solutions.
• Drive incremental deliveries through agile product management and phased roadmaps with clear outcomes.
• Ensure deep understanding of content, accessibility, usability, quality, tools and client usage of the data offering.
• Lead data-driven strategies and analytics to meet business objectives and enhance products.

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in product management, especially in commodities data.
• Strong understanding of commodity sub-asset classes (Energy, Metals, Agriculture, Carbon) and expertise in at least two.
• Deep knowledge of client cohorts and target audiences for commodities data products.
• Proven understanding of trading processes and corresponding data needs.
• Proven commercial acumen with a track record in growing a data business focused on feeds and APIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
