Design Engineer (Building Services/Revit)

Overview

In this role you will lead BIM coordination on building services projects, owning model quality and clash resolution as the BIM specialist. You’ll produce and maintain 3D MEP models in Revit, coordinate electrical and mechanical services, and support teams to deliver right-first-time information. You’ll work closely with the BIM Director and senior stakeholders to ensure standards are met across live projects. This position offers technical ownership and a clear path to deep BIM expertise within a growing consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E BIM information across multiple building services projects
• Produce and maintain Revit MEP models, perform clash detection and deliver construction-phase BIM outputs
• Run clash detection using Navisworks and manage deliverables via a Common Data Environment
• Lead coordination on own projects and act as the go-to person for model quality and clash resolution
• Collaborate with BIM Director and senior stakeholders to ensure recognisable BIM standards across projects

Key requirements

• Strong M&E Revit/BIM background
• Experience coordinating mechanical & electrical services and running clash detection (Navisworks)
• Good working knowledge of BIM workflows
