Overview

In this role you monitor CCTV, intruder and fire alarm panels as part of the Mitie Business Services security team. You ensure compliance and accurate recording of incidents, escalate issues, and respond to emergencies to protect people and property. You produce precise incident reports to ensure alarms are addressed promptly. The position requires a valid CCTV License and a 5-year verifiable education or work history with references, with 12-hour shifts across nights and days in Leeds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, intruder and fire alarm panels
• Assist with daily operational requirements and compliance
• Ensure accurate recording of incidents and risk outlines
• Escalate incidents and report Health and Safety concerns
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate alarm responses
• Produce accurate incident reports to support timely actions

Key requirements

• Valid CCTV License
• 5-year verifiable education or work history with references
• Awareness of Private Security Industry law, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Emergency Procedures
• Security experience or background
• Customer service orientation
• Willingness to work a mix of nights and days on 12-hour shifts
