Global, PE Sr Advisor, AWS Private Equity

Overview

You will lead AWS’s relationships with Private Equity firms to expand AWS adoption across portfolio companies, driving strategic, business and technical engagements. You’ll identify PE targets, coordinate with sales, partners, and product teams, and articulate compelling value for cloud transformation. The role combines strategic thinking with deep technical collaboration to deliver scalable PE programs in a fast-moving cloud environment. You will shape initiatives that increase AWS use in the PE ecosystem and its investments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Business Development team to drive market and technical strategy
• Identify infrastructure needs within PE portfolio companies and drive engagement through PE firms
• Execute a strategic business development plan aligning internal stakeholders (sales, partners, marketing, support)
• Collaborate with PE firms and portfolio company leadership to optimize benefits from web services and access to technical resources
• Utilize Analytics tools and internal Amazon systems to inform decisions
• Prepare and present business reviews to AWS senior leadership on PE engagement progress
• Serve as primary eyes and ears to the PE community on behalf of AWS and Amazon
• Manage a high volume of concurrent engagements and scale with GenAI and cloud computing pace
• Maintain foundational technical knowledge (cloud computing concepts, databases, storage, networks, GenAI) to differentiate AWS services

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing
• Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
• Experience with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, Networking)
