Solution Architect – London Market Insurance

Overview

In this role you will leadArchitecture initiatives for the London Market, guiding large-scale insurance transformation programs. You will shape migration and modernization roadmaps, and define both current-state and future-state technology landscapes. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure architecture aligns with underwriting processes and market needs, delivering scalable, API-driven and cloud-native solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities

• lead large-scale insurance transformation programs
• drive PAS implementation, migration, or replacement initiatives
• define migration strategies, target-state architectures, and modernization roadmaps
• document current-state and future-state technology landscapes
• shape architecture to support underwriting processes and operating models

Key requirements

• proven experience as a Solution Architect within London Market Insurance
• extensive experience delivering large-scale transformation programs
• hands-on PAS implementation, migration, or replacement initiatives
• strong knowledge of underwriting processes and operating models
• experience defining migration strategies, target-state architectures, and modernization roadmaps
• expertise in documenting current-state and future-state landscapes

• API-led architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven integration
• Microservices architecture, Docker, and containerization
• Microsoft Azure and cloud-native solution design
• Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Architecture modeling and technical design documentation
• DevOps and CI/CD practices
