Account Executive – Technology

Overview

In this role you will support global technology brands with media relations and client service, helping translate complex tech stories into compelling press materials and campaigns. You’ll work across B2B and consumer audiences, coordinating events and overseeing coverage for high-profile brands. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and Burson offices worldwide, contributing to human-centered storytelling in an evolving tech landscape. Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day media liaison and develop media relationships
• Prepare press materials (press releases, blogs, Q&As, briefing documents) with attention to detail
• Manage junior client relationships and daily contacts
• Oversee coverage and activity reporting for clients
• Coordinate press briefings, product launches, conferences and events
• Participate in internal brainstorms and contribute ideas for client briefs
• Monitor industry news to understand trends and competitive landscape

Key requirements

• Positive and proactive attitude to add value to clients and teams
• Passion for technology and understanding of the consumer tech market
• Experience in technology and/or telecoms sectors; tech experience is essential
• Strong storytelling and pitching skills for business, trade, and national media
• Global outlook with ability to transfer skills across UK and global client work
• Organizational skills and ability to manage relationships with international Burson offices
