Lead Biomedical Scientist — Blood Sciences & Transfusion

NHS Western Isles is seeking an experienced Lead Biomedical Scientist to head Blood Sciences and Transfusion at the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. The role is permanent, 36 hours per week, with a Band 7 salary and a Distant Islands Allowance.

You will lead day-to-day operations across Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion, with opportunities to cross-train within a modernising service and contribute to policy and SOP development.
