Investment Associate

We’re working with an established private markets investment firm that backs top-performing fund managers on behalf of its clients.

You’ll be involved across the full investment process, from sourcing and researching funds, through due diligence and IC, to monitoring managers once invested. The focus is on identifying and backing the strongest managers across a broad range of strategies. You’ll also work closely with teams across the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying and reviewing high-performing fund opportunities
• Assessing each manager, their strategy and the associated risks
• Analysing returns, cash flows and value creation, and benchmarking managers against their peers
• Monitoring how existing investments and managers are performing, and flagging changes in strategy, team or risk
• Keeping across market activity, from fundraising and deployment to valuations and exits
• Supporting the launch of new investment opportunities

Your background

• Ideally up to two years in private markets, investment management, transaction services or a related field
• Experience across private equity, private credit or infrastructure is an advantage, though not essential
• A strong academic record and sharp analytical instincts
• A genuine curiosity for private markets, with sound investment judgement
• Fluent French is required, with another European language an advantage
