HR Manager | Hybrid, UK | Permanent | £40,000pa +benefits, (full time or part time)
At The CFO Centre, we help ambitious business owners get the expertise they need to grow. Behind every client success is a team of people, and we’re looking for an HR Manager to help look after them.
The role
You’ll be the go-to HR expert for 90+ permanent colleagues and a network of 350+ contractors across the UK, Ireland and beyond. One day you’ll be guiding a manager through a tricky situation; the next you’ll be reviewing our policies or advising a Regional Director on a contractor query. Reporting to our Head of People, you’ll keep us compliant, keep things fair and help our managers lead with confidence.
What you’ll do
- Give clear, practical advice on the full range of employee relations matters
- Manage ER cases from first conversation to outcome
- Own principal onboarding
- Keep our UK and Irish policies current as employment law changes
- Support people projects across engagement, wellbeing, reward and learning
What you’ll bring
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) is a bonus
- Solid experience handling an ER caseload on your own
- Up-to-date UK employment law; Irish law knowledge is a plus
- Some international exposure, or a real appetite to build it is a bonus
- A commercial, calm and confident advisory style
