HR Operating Model SpecialistHybrid working | Up to £70,000 + bonus

How should HR work across a complex organisation? How can it deliver a better service to employees, give managers clearer support and make processes easier to navigate?

I’m working with a leading consultancy looking for an HR Operating Model Specialist to help clients answer these questions and turn their recommendations into practical change.

Joining an established HR transformation team, you’ll work on large-scale programmes that reshape how organisations deliver HR services. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how a function operates, finding where improvements can be made and working with stakeholders to put those changes into practice.

You’ll contribute to HR operating model design, review end-to-end processes and help improve the way shared services and wider HR teams work together. Your work will cover process improvement, workforce analysis, service delivery, governance and change management, with a clear focus on making HR more effective and improving the employee experience.

You’ll use data, research and benchmarking to understand challenges and develop clear recommendations. Alongside this, you’ll facilitate workshops, bring different stakeholders together and support the adoption of new processes and ways of working, helping ensure the changes deliver value beyond the design stage.

There’s also scope to get involved in proposals, client presentations and developing new offerings, giving you the opportunity to influence the growth of the team as well as build your own consulting career.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering HR transformation or supporting HR operating model changes within complex organisations.
  • A strong understanding of HR operations, shared services and how HR services are delivered.
  • High-level knowledge of HR systems and processes across areas such as payroll, time management and benefits.
  • The ability to analyse data, simplify complex problems and turn findings into practical recommendations.
  • Confidence engaging stakeholders, facilitating workshops and building agreement across different teams.
  • A proactive approach to delivery and an interest in improving employee experience.

You could already be working in consulting or come from an in-house HR transformation role with a strong advisory and project delivery element. CIPD or project management qualifications would be useful, alongside experience contributing to proposals or developing consulting offerings.

In return, you’ll join a collaborative team with access to varied client programmes, training, certifications and opportunities to develop your career. The package includes a salary of up to £70,000, a bonus and flexible benefits, with hybrid working (once or twice/month) and flexibility required for client travel.

Both Modis International Ltd and Modis Europe Ltd are Equal Opportunities Employers.
