Disabled Facilities Grants Officer — Housing Adaptations Lead

Hackney Council is seeking a seasoned Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) Officer to assess, process and manage DFG applications and home adaptation projects within Adult Social Care and Private Sector Housing.

The role requires technical knowledge of DFG legislation, building construction, means testing, and drawing up specifications, schedules of work and drawings for adaptations, plus strong stakeholder collaboration with Occupational Therapists, residents and contractors.
