The Role
As National Material Handling Manager, you will set and deliver the UK & Ireland strategy for a range covering pallet trucks, stackers, lift tables and mobile weighing, alongside a growing mobile robotics offering. You will personally manage 15-20 key accounts across forklift dealers, equipment manufacturers, national rental companies and catalogue distributors, leading negotiations and framework agreements. You will own pricing, margin and stock, and coach the power generation sales team to sell material handling through joint visits and training.
Location
Home-based with national travel, typically four days a week on the road.
Requirements
- Senior commercial or product leadership experience in material handling
- Strong relationships with forklift/MHE dealers or re-hire companies
- Experience of pricing, stock planning and margin management
- Full UK driving licence
The Package
- £50,000-£60,000 basic, depending on experience
- £15,000 OTE (20% variable)
