Looking for flexible work in Early Years that fits around your lifestyle and within school hours?
Premier Education is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners to support three welcoming school-based preschools across the Wigan and Leigh areas.
We have a variety of daily supply and short-term cover opportunities, perfect for practitioners who enjoy working with young children but would prefer flexibility without committing to a permanent role.
Whether you’re looking for a few days each week, occasional cover or regular short-term bookings, we’d love to hear from you!
The Role
You will be working within friendly, supportive preschool teams, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children with their learning, development and daily routines.
- Delivering engaging, age-appropriate play-based activities.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive relationships.
- Working alongside experienced Early Years staff.
- Supporting children’s wellbeing and safeguarding.
What We’re Looking For
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential) or QTS/EYTS.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- A friendly, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and the ability to settle quickly into new environments.
- An understanding of the EYFS framework.
