PMLD Personal Care Teaching Assistant – BarnetLocation: BarnetContract: TemporaryPay: £110–£150 per day PAYEThe opportunityA specialist SEN school in Barnet is looking for a compassionate teaching assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities across learning, communication and personal-care routines.

What you will do

• Support sensory learning, positioning and communication activities.
• Provide respectful personal care in line with individual plans and training.
• Work alongside teachers, therapists and care colleagues to promote comfort and participation.
• Follow moving-and-handling, medical and safeguarding procedures accurately.

What you will bring

• Relevant experience supporting children or young people with complex needs.
• A dignified, attentive approach to personal care and pupil wellbeing.
• Reliability, emotional resilience and clear communication with colleagues.
• QTS is not required for this teaching-assistant role.
