Senior Early Years Educator

Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive? At Little Learners we are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Senior Early Years Educator to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference during their early years. As a senior member of the team, you’ll help create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and inspired to explore the world around them.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan and lead fun, engaging activities that support children’s learning and development both inside and outside in our large garden area
• Provide high-quality care and support for children age 18 months to 5 years old
• Help children build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their individual milestones
• Support daily routines including mealtimes, personal care, and rest periods
• Lead by example and support team members through mentoring and guidance
• Work closely with families, building positive relationships and sharing children’s achievements and progress
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, families, and colleagues
• Contribute to planning and delivering an inspiring curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

What we’re looking for

• Has a genuine passion for early years education and childcare
• Has experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
• Is confident leading activities and supporting children’s development
• Can inspire and motivate colleagues while working as part of a team
• Has excellent communication skills and enjoys building relationships with families
• Is organised, reliable, and committed to providing outstanding care and education
