ML Research Assistant: Epidemic Early-Warning Signals

The University of Sheffield is seeking a Research Assistant to help us predict Strep A outbreaks using machine learning. You will gather and harmonise datasets, develop models in Python and/or R, and evaluate their predictive performance to generate early-warning signals for clinicians and public health teams.

Working across disciplines, you will collaborate with clinicians and an engineering team, ensure reproducible analysis, and contribute to a tool with real potential to protect people.
