Counterbalance Forklift Drivers – Permanent vacancies
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £31,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)
Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating AM/PM shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00) plus occasional night shift, paid at a higher premium
Plus: Overtime paid after 40 hours + exceptional employee benefits
This client is recruiting a experienced Forklift Truck Drivers to join a respected and long‑standing manufacturing facility in Leicestershire. Key Responsibilities
- · Operating Counterbalance FLTs safely and accurately in a busy production environment
- · Moving a variety of products, pallets, and cages across the site
- · Loading and unloading vehicles with precision and care
- · Checking barcodes, customer orders, and stock items ready for UK‑wide distribution
- · Supporting wider production and warehouse teams as required
- · Working within a quality‑controlled, clean, and safety‑focused environment
- · Completing picking, packing, and materials handling tasks
- · Using MRP systems and Windows‑based software to manage stock and order information (ideal but not essential)
Your skills and experience
- · In‑date RTITB licence for Counterbalance
- · Proven experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
- · Strong awareness of health & safety and quality standards
- · Confident, accurate FLT driving skills
- · A team‑focused approach with the flexibility to support other operational areas
- · Good attention to detail when handling stock, orders, and documentation
- · Experience with MRP or stock management systems is highly desirable
