Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Ballymena

Salary: £53,887.50 per annum

We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing operation based in Ballymena.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills to play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns and identify root causes to prevent recurring issues.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
• Work closely with production teams to maintain efficient day-to-day operations.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and respond effectively to breakdowns.
• A proactive approach to maintenance, safety and problem-solving.
