Role Overview
Colemans Garden Centre is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Attendant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our customers and colleagues. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, a positive attitude, and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness across the site.
Working Hours
- Permanent, part-time position
- 2 shifts per week
- Approximately 1114 hours per week
- Hours may vary depending on business requirements
Key Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for:
- Cleaning and maintaining customer and staff areas to a high standard.
- Ensuring public facilities, including toilets and shared areas, are clean, tidy, and well presented.
- Cleaning staffroom and staff welfare areas.
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the garden centre.
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste areas are maintained appropriately.
- Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
- Carrying out cleaning tasks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment and products.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to management.
- Supporting the team with any other reasonable housekeeping duties requested by management.
Essential Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or similar experience preferred.
- A good eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- A reliable and flexible approach to work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness due to the nature of the role, which involves standing, walking, lifting, and practical cleaning tasks.
