Aftermarket Operations Team Leader

Overview

In this role you will lead the Customer Service Centre to ensure efficient handling of repair, rest, and stores activities, aligning with contractual requirements and Raytheon UK goals. You’ll manage a cross-functional team, drive on-time delivery and quality in inventory processing, and promote continuous improvement and safe, compliant operations. The role combines people leadership with collaboration across Programme Management, Quality, Engineering, Exports and Global Trade. This is a chance to shape frontline service, optimize processes, and contribute to a mission-driven, security-focused organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the CSC team to meet operational and monthly targets
• Collaborate with Programme Management, Quality, Engineering, Exports and Global Trade for alignment with goals
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and identify/mitigate risks
• Ensure accurate receipt, storage and issuing of materials and efficient inventory processes
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and SQCDP improvements
• Foster collaboration and innovation across functions
• Plan workload, schedules and resources to meet priorities and commitments
• Maintain training and certifications for the team
• Ensure activities are performed safely and staff are adequately trained
• Coach and develop team via performance reviews and development activities
• Manage and approve time recording and attendance

Key requirements

• Extensive management experience in a similar environment
• Leadership experience of diverse teams
• Strong SAP & MS Office Skills
• Experience in a mixed mode Manufacturing environment with ERP interfaces
