Project Manager Level 1

Overview

In this Project Manager role, you will develop and manage the delivery of major work packages across multiple teams to support service delivery. You’ll help shape strategic conversations and development plans, ensuring changes are effectively managed with diverse stakeholders. You will provide professional guidance to teams, supporting decision-making and maintaining risk controls. This role is embedded in a forward‑looking public service team focused on improving outcomes for citizens and strengthening strength‑based practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage delivery of major work packages following the agreed project management methodology
• Ensure effective change management by collaborating with project teams and stakeholders
• Provide professional advice, support and guidance to teams, colleagues and stakeholders to aid decision making
• Support service delivery improvements and contribute to risk reduction across the service
• Collaborate with Team Managers, Operational Lead and Service Manager to align projects with service goals
