Risk Reporting 2LOD Analyst

Overview

In this role you support Citi’s risk management mission by delivering analytics and reporting that inform risk views for senior stakeholders. You will work within the risk data analytics team to build analytical applications and automate data flows, enabling robust BCBS 239 compliant reporting and crisis monitoring. You will collaborate with risk managers, technology, and business lines to drive improvements and practical risk insights. Responsibilities

• Prepare timely analytics, visualizations, and reports for risk managers, regulators and senior management
• Produce and communicate risk views and metrics
• Document BCBS 239 principles and maintain compliant risk reporting
• Analyze and automate data flows and controls, leveraging AI to improve efficiency
• Design and build analytical applications with risk managers, businesses and technology
• Apply operational risk policies, governance, and controls to minimize losses
• Evaluate the control environment ensuring appropriate controls are in place
• Ensure completion of projects and ad hoc activities
• Act as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members
• Assess risk in business decisions and escalate control issues transparently

Key requirements

• Demonstrable risk reporting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong background in data, analytics, databases and data quality
• Experience of Tableau, Power BI or equivalent
• Understanding of BCBS 239 preferred
• Knowledge of or interest in finance, markets or risk management
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
