Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Overview

In this role you will strengthen and evolve Synthomer’s security capabilities across the international business. You’ll own and improve critical security platforms, investigate threats, and drive continuous improvement to protect people, systems and data. You will partner with IT teams, external providers and stakeholders to raise security awareness and support audits and security projects. This is a hands-on role that combines technical execution with cross-functional collaboration in a global context.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve security platforms and services
• Administer key technologies (Microsoft 365 Security, Purview, Mimecast, Trellix, Defender, Skyhigh SWG)
• Investigate phishing attempts, security incidents and emerging threats
• Support cloud security, data protection and DLP initiatives
• Act as trusted security partner to IT teams, external providers and business stakeholders
• Drive security awareness and promote best practices
• Contribute to security projects, audits and continuous improvement programs

Key requirements

• Experience in IT/Cyber/Information Security roles
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Security technologies
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, DLP, Information Protection and Compliance tools
• Experience administering Mimecast or similar email security platforms
• Experience with endpoint protection and secure web gateway technologies
• Understanding of Azure security controls and cloud security principles
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
