Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will own the delivery of the payments roadmap, coordinating with Product, Technology, Marketing and Operations to release software and roll out merchants. You will lead business-change initiatives that require no code and report to the Product Director, keeping Leadership and the group Exec updated. You’ll mitigate risks, manage dependencies with acquirers and providers, and establish repeatable delivery processes. This is a cross-functional, impact-driven role at ClearAccept within the ClearCourse group, offering visibility and growth across a Payments-focused platform.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver releases from kick-off to launch
• Manage stakeholders, partners and dependencies (acquirers, terminal providers, software platforms)
• Identify risks early and implement preventive actions
• Run clear status reporting and governance
• Build repeatable processes to streamline future deliveries

Key requirements

• Payments experience (gateway, acquirer, card scheme, payment method or Direct Debit)
• 3-5 years in software delivery for an API-based product
• Proven Agile delivery experience; comfortable with traditional project methods
• Project management certification (ideally PRINCE2)
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or Asana, and Confluence, Teams or SharePoint
