Overview

In this role you will support senior lawyers in a leading catastrophic injury team handling high‑value defence work across serious personal injury matters. You will work with major insurers and corporates on nationally significant cases, focusing on medical chronology work, expert coordination and evidence management. The team emphasises training, development and mentoring, offering exposure to cutting‑edge litigation and modern processes. You will contribute to complex claims progression and help nurture junior colleagues while upholding professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Support senior lawyers on serious personal injury defence cases
• Prepare detailed medical chronologies
• Arrange expert appointments and conferences with counsel
• Assist with disclosure and evidence management
• Support investigation and progression of large, complex claims
• Help train and mentor a junior Litigation Associate

Key requirements

• 5-6+ years’ experience in personal injury defence litigation
• Strong background assisting on large or complex cases
• Confident communicator with excellent written skills
• Highly organised, proactive and team-oriented
• Ability to handle sensitive, high-profile matters with professionalism
