SAP IT Business Analyst

Overview

As an SAP Business Analyst, you will lead analysis across multiple change initiatives within the IT SAP team, translating business needs into actionable requirements and measurable improvements. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to shape AS-IS and TO-BE processes, drive UAT, and deliver value-aligned, fit-for-purpose solutions. Pay / Benefits

• Salary £48,000–£60,000
• Annual incentive bonus up to £1,000

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across multiple change initiatives, delivering high-quality requirements for bespoke software, third-party apps, and cloud solutions
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements including UI designs, data models, process changes, and system interfaces
• Apply best-practice requirements engineering for elicitation, validation, documentation, and traceability
• Gather and define business requirements via interviews, workshops, surveys, and collaborative sessions
• Produce AS-IS and TO-BE process models and conduct gap analysis to identify improvements
• Build and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure engagement throughout delivery
• Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver effective, fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with business objectives
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and systems
• Ensure delivered solutions provide measurable business value and meet operational and strategic needs

• Recognition BA qualification (BCS BA or Lean Six Sigma) welcomed
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence is advantageous
